Day 13: What are you excited about

7/30/2016 01:34:00 AM

Right now I am overly excited about school starting back! I say this because my kids are actually beyond excited to start a new year! We are all ready to go too, we've got the back packs ready, the clothing laid out and all that is left to do is wait until next week!

T minus 5 days!

OH MY MY MY

7/28/2016 04:29:00 AM

Something broke and took me out. I had to transfer my entire blog to another account and import it. I'm working on fixing it and it shouldn't take too long!

30 minute later update: I am still having issues redirecting my blog to my own domain. Everything else is fixed and working though! UGH

Then 5 mins after that: IM BACK! That sucked really! Somehow the file on my other blog was corrupt so I had to save my blogs via export, upload them to a newly set up blog, rewrite my entire layout, get things back like it should be then make sure it is all working. It seems to be!

Here's to hoping that does not happen again!

Day 11: What is something you always think "what if..." about

7/23/2016 11:35:00 PM

In all honesty I don't have one particular "what if." I look at my life and realize that everything that has happened in my life has led me to the exact spot I sit in now.
I do sometimes think when triggered "what if I hadn't done that" but I don't wish to change it.
My biggest "what if" I gues you could say is what if I had protected myself and my children. Would I be where I am today if I had stood up to my abuser? No need to go into huge detail because if you read any of my blogs or know me, you know already.

Day 10: Write about something for which you feel strongly.

7/22/2016 12:48:00 AM

The photo says it all. I am an avid believer that children of divorce or split parents have the absolute right to the love of both parents. I believe parental alienation should be looked at and dealt with as child abuse because that is exactly what it is.
I feel no one but a judge has the absolute right to remove someone out of a child's life. I feel that people that carry out and support this action are the trashiest of those walking the earth.
There is something very sad and sadistic about a person that thinks it is ok or right to make the choice out of hate, vendetta and jealousy as to who can love a child.

I am a victim of parental alienation and I have been since 2010. My ex husband, his new wife and his entire family carry out this horrible act with no regards to the damage they are causing my children. They do not care. They simply care about coming out on top and looking like the good guys.

God don't like ugly... they are ugly and in that I find my peace. The God they claim to follow and love so much will get them good in the end. All I can do is forgive their dark black souls and pray God goes easy on them.

For more on my story you can check out My Blog To My Alienated Children. This blog is a mish mash of things actually. It is where I post my thoughts to my babies that were stolen from me and where I put things I think other should see and hopefully one day if I am not here to speak my truths to my babies they can read it for themselves. I have saturated the internet with their names, if they google themselves they will find me. I also have ANOTHER BLOG where I post things sent to me that are said by others, screenshots, proof of many lies, videos of the abuse put forth by my ex to me, videos of my children being abused, videos of the hell we lived through, proof others in the family knew the abuse took place, proof of what my ed and the replacement did, proof of EVERYTHING... It will refute anything those monsters have told my babies! That blog is private though, it will go live on my youngest stolen childs 18th birthday. It has alot of damning things and while they absolutely DESERVE to be called out and exposed I choose not to post names on my two live blogs and if something should happen tome before then several people have the information to set it to public. this blog has nothing hidden. EVERYTHING that took place in the dark WILL come to light.

I love you my sweet Ethan and Kaitlyn!

Anyhow, as you can see this is a subject for I have extremely strong feelings. :)

Cupcakes

Nacho Supreme Cupcakes

7/19/2016 06:46:00 AM

My kids like LOVE anything Mexican food related, I saw a pic of these and adapted them to my own! I love how they turned out and just cant get enough of them. I am eagerly waiting for my kids to see how these turned out!!!

These were quite easy to make actually. At first when I first saw them I was thinking “Oh, those look complicated and all.” Anyhow, after much thought I gave it a go! So easy!

The little “nachos” were so easy to make and they are so good!
Nacho Supreme Cupcake
Recipe Type: Cupcake

Total time: 1 hour
Serves: 12
Ingredients
  • 1 Box devils food cake mix
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 4 tortillas
  • Cinnamon sugar mix (or equal parts of both)
  • Green sour punch straws or sour gummy worms green in color
  • Strawberry jam
  • yellow and red food coloring
Instructions
  1. Make the boxed cake according to the directions on the box and set aside to cool.
  2. Take 4 tortillas cut them into small triangles (to resemble nacho chips) and top them with cinnamon sugar mixture and bake at 400 for 5-10 mins or until crisp.
  3. For frosting take softened butter & cream cheese and blend until incorporated then add to that powdered sugar until it reaches the consistency you like.
  4. Once frosting is to your liking use the yellow and red food coloring until you obtain the color of nacho cheese (I used 3 drops red and 15 yellow) it varies from brand to brand how much you need to use.

Life

Today...

7/18/2016 11:30:00 PM

Has been a pretty rough day. A good friend of mine passed away yesterday and I've just been BLAH today.

I've spent most of this day in my bed, asleep. My kids are spending some time with memaw (my mama) so I'm supposed to be getting my house in order and ready for back to school... that isn't happening at the moment though.
I also got a email from someone I haven't spoken to in a VERY long time. While I was happy to receive it it was also a bitter moment, I'm trying my best to answer it with my whole heart however.
School is about to start and with that comes a more laid back day for me. I am anxious to see how my littles do this year because they are so excited about going back to school! Hoping to get the twins into some kind of activity this year that is new to them and they have both mentioned some options so we are looking into those. Madys has been gymnastics and Maddox has been martial arts, we will see how that pans out.

Here is a photo I took of my friend while in Tybee island. He looked like an angel, now he is one so it was only fitting I give him wings.

RIP Kevin.

Day 6: Five ways to win your heart

7/18/2016 04:02:00 AM

Yeah... I missed again but in my defense I haven't had access to the internet enough to post. Not only that but I lost a good friend.

Anyways.

1. Be silly with me.
2. Be willing to learn and do new things with me.
3. Show interest in things I like and be willing to introduce me to things you like.
4. Make me feel important.
5. Encourage me.

Food

Taco Soup... and casserole

7/14/2016 12:35:00 AM

Tonight I made taco soup. It's kind of an adapted recipe that I found on Pinterest so long ago. I use a few cans of stuff, boiled chicken breast and a package of taco seasoning.

It's quite quick and easy.

All I do is boil 3 large chicken breast then shred. Set the broth from boiling aside.

Add a can each of:
Black beans
Pinto beans
Red kidney beans
Corn
Rotel
Enchilada sauce

Add to the can mixture about 5-6 cups of the chicken broth (enough to get liquid over top of can mixture)

I then chop a medium onion and add that to everything.

I add the package of taco seasoning to that and let simmer for about 30 mins before I serve.

On the plate above you'll notice the casserole also. I do that because some people in my family don't want the soup (texture issues). All I do is cook macaroni noodles, drain some of the soup and mix in all together with melted cheese on top.

It's good. If you make this, enjoy!

Please note. I double the recipe when I make both soup and casserole.

Day 4: Write about someone who inspires you

7/13/2016 11:57:00 PM

My mother inspires me. Not the one who raised me but the one who made me. I met her in 2005 and ever since then she has been my mom, mother, mama... whatever you can call it that is what she is.

In an unfortunate turn of events I no longer speak to or choose to associate with the "woman" that "raised" me. It wasn't until I became a mother did I realize the love of a true mother and that just isn't something the woman who raised me was capable of giving.

My (birth) mother loves me without ends.
She does not judge me and does not look down on me for anything in my past. She loves me as a mother and a parent should and even with everything she has been through in life she does it all with a smile. If I turn out to be half the mother and woman my mom is I'll be doing good.

I'm extremely proud of my mom, I'm lucky to have her. ❤️

Food

Chicken Bacon Ranch Ring

7/11/2016 04:22:00 AM

I made this tonight. I didn't really feel like "cooking" so this was the winner for dinner!

I know tons of people have made this and ate this so all of the recipes vary but I'll tell you how *I* make mine.

1 8oz package of cream cheese softened
1 package of ranch seasoning
1 1/3 cup mayo
2 packaged any shredded cheese (I want to say they were 16oz packages)
2 large chicken breast (boiled and shredded)
2 package of bacon (cooked till crispy)
2 cans crescent rolls

I lay it all out in a circle like this (sorry for the blurry photo):

Then add the mixture around the ring until it's full then I fold over the triangles resulting in this:

I put that into an oven that's been preheated to 350 and bake for the time allotted on the crescent rolls.

It's good, easy and quick.

Day 2: Write something that someone told you about yourself that you never forgot.

7/11/2016 04:06:00 AM

(Disclaimer: I haven't been able to access my blog for 4 days due to locking myself out so I'm a few days behind)

Anyways... I like this topic.

I would honestly have to say it would be this:
"This doesn't define you, it's just a phase of life and you'll move past it."
I won't go into detail about why or when but the person that said that to me was so right and as I look back I realize it's exactly what I needed to hear at the time.  Now that I have overcame it and moved on I am so entirely greatful for the friends I had along the way and still have to this day.

That is all.

Day 1: List 10 things that make you really happy

7/08/2016 12:59:00 AM

1. Family (All of them)

2. Animals
3. My Eve mattress
4. SNS nails
5. Pedicures
6. My IPhone 6s (I'd be lost without it)
7. My Roku
8. Decorating
9. Cooking
10. Being a mom

Those are the things I can think of off the top of my head that make ME happy. Of course there are things that go deeper but these are the fun "me things."

Blog

a little change

7/07/2016 03:12:00 PM

Never hurt anyone. I got rid of the stars and added a matching header image that now matches my new background perfectly. I also added some social media icons, new links and reworked my layout a tad. I like it. It's new and fresh. 😊

Out with the old, in with the new!

Food

Cream cheese spaghetti

7/07/2016 12:55:00 AM

This was dinner tonight!

I may start posting what I make so I can remember, I so often forget what or how I made something. Lol
Anyways, I made this cream cheese spaghetti tonight and everyone ate it up!
It's so easy too! All you do is take 1 jar of spaghetti sauce, noodles, cream cheese and water and viola... This good stuff comes out!

I put enough water in the bottom to almost cover my noodles (I used enough for 5-6 people), I then poured my jar of spaghetti sauce on top of the uncooked noodles then half a block of cream cheese on that. I turned the eye on medium and I stirred it until it looked like this:

I added meatballs but next time I might try ground beef. Keep stirring or it will
stick and burn so, don't walk away from it! Also you may need some cream or water to loosen it up because it will thicken if you don't serve right away!

Anyways. That's that.

Blog

Revamp

7/02/2016 11:27:00 AM

New design!

I finally got the old laptop out and revamped this blog! It had had that awful wood looking background forever... Now, its bright and cheery and I like it!

My blog really had no reason, not this one. Its mainly where I just post random things that come to my mind or share stories! Thats all. Hopefully one day it will stand as a reminder of everything I've done, if Blogger is even around at that point!

At any rate I must go pack for our mini vacation... Even though I haven't decided where we are going!

Family

Is it July already?

7/01/2016 10:45:00 PM

Is it ALREADY July? Are we already half way through this year? It's almost Christmas... Holy crud! Wow! This year is flying by and has brought with it some hard things to swallow but all in all it has been awesome.

We aren't doing much for the 4th of July, going to go to my moms and just have fun with family like we did last year. I can't wait to cook out and have all the yummy food that comes along with it if you want to know what I'm looking forward to!
I can't wait to get the kids back to the beach, I seriously thought about packing the family up and heading down to Tybee for a much needed get away. My family had a pretty hard week this last week and that would be a fun unwind but then I'd miss the cookout and my mamas house. Such a hard decision when you throw the beach in there as an option. We shall see.
The other night I ended up in the ER and for what I have absolutely no clue. My neck was hurting so bad I couldn't stand it, it was stiff, I had a fever and my stomach hurt. I swear I was scared they thought I had menengitis or something but after a round of steroids and some extremely powerful pain meds I am ok. My blood pressure though, it's doing whacky things as of lately. I had to be sent to a separate part of the hospital the other night just because of my blood pressure! That's something new and scary to me.

I accidentlly deleted this pic! I will find it and add it back! WHOOPS!

You can kind of see exactly HOW swollen it was from this photo. It was horrible. My fave was swollen as well along with having splotches all over it because of the dang blood pressure issue. Im better from that though so that is a good thing.

Pretty much that's all that's going on around here. Going to decide where to spend the 4th and then start getting ready for school! ❤️
